Hi my name is Terra. I’ve raised five wonderful children: Aleesha, Bridget, Hayley, Brett and Kayla. I worked for Atomic Energy of Canada for 10 years. I quit when my youngest daughter was born and became a Domestic Engineer. When Kayla started school, I started volunteering and Lunch Monitoring at Beausejour Elementary School. After a year or so, I started doing respite work with Child and Family Services and did this for eight years. During those eight years, I felt really good knowing what a difference I could make in a child’s life. After my client moved away, I looked for work in that area, which brought me to Network 4 Change. I am honoured to be working here.
I enjoy running alot and decided to run in the Manitoba Marathon. I did the half marathon 13.2 miles and finished with the top 1/4 of the women runners. In the summer, I enjoy camping.
