Lisa U. - Outreach Worker

lisa-baby-001.jpg038.JPGMy name is Lisa and I am an Outreach Worker here at Network 4 Change.  I started working here at the beginning of the school year in September 2007.  Above and beyond my job at Network 4 Change, I am also a spare School Bus Driver for Sunrise School Division and a family respite worker for Child and Family Services.

I graduated and received my Grade 12 Diploma in 1986 from Sisler High School in Winnipeg.  Since then I have had a variety of employment positions.  I left my career as a Dental Benefits Processor in December 1992 to have my first daughter Melissa.  I chose then not to go back to work and be a full time stay at home mom.  Two years later my second daughter Melody was born.  Six years following in December 2000, my third daughter Bailey was born.  Being a stay at home mom has been both rewarding and challenging.  I would not have changed a thing.

In 2004 changes in my family situation brought me back to the work force.  I have explored a few opportunities and choices which have led me to where I am today.

I enjoy working with people and helping the students here at Network 4 Change on their journey called life.
