Created by Youville Centre and approved by Healthy Child Manitoba, Mothers and Daughters In Touch is some dedicated time just for Moms with their girls. The program is offered in two varieties: 9-11 year old daughters and 12-14 year old daughters. The program runs for eight weeks with a focus on communication, self awareness, healthy self esteem, and most of all FUN! Network 4 Change will run two rounds of program per year (fall and spring) accepting a maximum of 8 mother/daughter pairs in each age group.
Registration is FREE, but space is limited.
Mothers and Daughters in Touch for daughters aged 9-11 years is being offered again this year. The sessions are held Monday evenings from 6 - 8 pm, beginning October 19, 2009, and ending December 7, 2009 at the Network 4 Change office: 17-31 First Street South in Beausejour.
