HELP US WIN THE AVIVA COMMUNITY FUND CONTEST

vote.jpgSummer of 2011, a generous supporter of Network 4 Change has donated a property with 3 buildings to the organization. The now owner of this property, Network 4 Change, needs to renovate the main building to become the new NETWORK 4 CHANGE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER.
The costs of the renovations are estimated at $170,000.00 of which they already have $60,000.00 pledged by a longtime supporter and donor of Network 4 Change. This leaves the $110,000.00 they are hoping to WIN through the Aviva Community Fund with the help of your VOTES.
The plan is to begin the renovations this winter with the hope to be moved into the new facility by September 1, 2011.

This is a very reasonable timeline given we have already finalized the paperwork and are the legal owners of the property needing to be renovated. They have also been in contact with local contractors to provide them with the projected floor plan (in kind work) and estimates for the proposed renovations.
Moving into the new facility will immediately reduce the financial resources they currently allocate to the organizations overhead costs by the amount of their yearly leasing costs ($22,800.00), money which can then be reallocated directly to increasing community services and supports. Not only will the new facility reduce their overhead budget, but it will also generate much needed revenue when they are able to lease space out to other like-minded community service providers for a very fair cost which will help them as well. The generated revenue will be tagged to support the Network 4 Change H.O.P.E. Project (Helping out Parents Early) which is everything that they do “Early Years”.
We thank the Aviva Community Fund for the opportunity to enter our outstanding organization into such an innovative contest as well as all the supporters who VOTE for our idea. Here’s hoping we are turning the key to the door of their new facility next September
