ABOUT US

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY

house.jpgNetwork 4 Change began in February 2005 as a collaborative community ad hoc steering committee with the sole purpose being to oversee the program development and implementation of the youth program Road 2 Success.  It became quickly clear with the instant positive response to the youth program that the group of individuals that comprised the steering committee could see a larger purpose to their meetings.

On July 28, 2005 Network 4 Change became incorporated as a non-profit community organization and began to broaden their scope of community initiatives with the intent to enhance our social economy. Network 4 Change is a non-profit charitable organization of the Beausejour/Brokenhead communities.

In June 2007 the organization was accepted as a registered charity which has opened the doors further for us to continue to work toward best meeting the needs of our community.

Our board of directors has members from different areas of the community. We have representation from Sunrise School Board of Trustees, NEHA, Eastman Family Services and Housing, Eastman Community and Youth Corrections, Business Community, Private Citizens, and our local schools.

Now entering into our third year of service, our mission and vision stay the same.

MISSION STATEMENT

“Bringing stability, hope, strength & wellness to community members through a comprehensive approach to care, advocacy and service; creating stronger communities by developing stronger community members.”
